OUR SERVICES
Comprehensive Eye Exams
Our comprehensive eye exams go beyond visual acuity. We cover every facet of your vision and eye health, ensuring a thorough assessment.
External Exam: We evaluate the whites of your eyes, iris, pupil, eyelids, eyelashes, corneal topography, endothelial.
Internal Exam: Through dilation, we examine the retina and optic nerve for any signs of eye disease.
Visual Function and Eye Health: We test depth perception, color vision, peripheral vision, and assess your pupils' response to light. Additionally, we evaluate eye focusing, teaming, and movement abilities.
Glaucoma Testing: We check fluid pressure within your eyes to detect potential glaucoma.
Visual Acuity: Using different lenses, we determine if glasses or contact lenses can enhance your vision.
Dry Eye Management and Treatments
Dry eye is one of the most under-diagnosed ocular diseases despite being one of the most common complaints among patients. Dry eye is often a chronic condition in which a patient suffers from inadequate or poor quality tears which then fail to lubricate and nourish the eye.
Good quality tears are essential to maintaining the health of the cornea and providing clear vision. Symptoms of dry eye often include: eye discomfort, sensitivity to light, redness, itching or burning sensations, blurred vision and watery eyes. Upon diagnosis we offer a wide variety of treatment options and can curate a plan designed to fit your unique situation and symptoms.
Contact Lens Exams and Fittings
If you wear or want to become a contact lens wearer, a contact lens exam and proper fitting must be done in addition to a comprehensive exam. An eyeglass prescription is not a substitute for a contact lens exam as the two are very different.
An eyeglass prescription measures for lenses that are positioned away from your eyes, whereas a contact lens prescription measures for lenses that sit directly on your eyes surface. All the information from your contact lens exam will determine the proper prescription, the proper fit, as well as what lens type and brand will work best for you.
Ocular Emergencies
We can treat a wide range of conditions such as infections, trauma, cuts or scratches, injuries to the eye or eyelid and much more.
